In bed with you

The Coffee smell
Drives me crazy with desire
From your breast I swell
And momentarily its entire

Now all that exists is this room
And you and I
This bed, an artificial tomb
But I stopped wishing to die

The room smothers me
The condensation runs down the window
I am conscious of the debris
Others left but he knows

He knows I am damaged
So he has me entwined
I’m silenced and we manage
I am stilled and resigned
