“Life is like a public performance on the violin, in which you must learn the instrument as you go along”
I read this in A Room With A View by E.M. Forster and wanted to share it.
I find that you learn from your mistakes, but it is also the embarrassment of having made a mistake in front of people that forces you not to do again. You can choose to learn from your mistakes or continue making the same ones. You could say how you react to the mistakes, whether you are embarrassed about it or not also means something. Like if you don’t care what other people think of you then the mistakes mean nothing and you are learning for yourself, however when you do care what others think you are embarrassed to not have impressed them.
